We all know Nepal was a part of undivided China. When and how did, then, Nepal break away from China?
Some Indians have repeatedly told us in Nepal that it was once part of undivided India a long time ago (I don’t have much evidence for this, but some southern parts of Nepal may have been). Still, we have never heard of Nepal being part of undivided China.
So this question of “We all know Nepal was a part of undivided China” is frankly ludicrous and I challenge you to bring me any documented evidence to prove otherwise. Some Mountainous districts of Nepal have indeed been influenced by Tibetan culture and religion, especially the district of Mustang but not the whole of Nepal. Unlike the Nepal-India border, there’s also a natural border between Nepal and China which is the mountains and Himalayas. Hence, I don’t see how Nepal could have been part of undivided China.
