How corrupt is Xi Jinping?

Xi Jinping began his reign as president by launching an “anti-corruption campaign.” This was a brilliant Machiavellian move by Xi Jinping, as China is riddled with corruption. He needed to find dirt on political opponents and rivals within the party, accuse them of corruption (CCP corruption is notoriously rampant), and thus eliminate them… A recently leaked US intelligence report has revealed that Xi Jinping and his family are worth up to a billion dollars.[1] It also reveals that about 65%(!) of Chinese officials still take bribes. When Xi went after “corruption,” he actually had to eliminate factions within his party that could hinder him. This was the first thing he did in 2012, and he has been virtually untouched since. He has since removed term limits put in place after Mao, ensuring that no one person controls the party and all of China to such an extent... and has now achieved a level of power not held by any other Chinese leader in more than fifty years. Xi Jinping places his brothers, sisters, and nephews in high-power positions. Xi and his relatives own a percentage interest in many state-owned companies and make millions in profits every year. They live like kings... "socialist" kings!
